The icebreaking period is over

FGBU "Administration of the Sea Ports of the Azov Sea" announced the completion of the icebreaker reconnaissance period from 12 pm on 4 March 2015 "in connection with the destruction of the ice sheet, favorable weather forecast and ice conditions".

Thus, from now on, not only all incoming requirements for the call for navigation but also ice gathering in the ports of Rostov-on-Don, Azov and Taganrog are removed.

The good news is that the ship owners will be slightly pleased, as the quantity of cargoes remains so low that they are unlikely to be able to fully experience the positive effect of the early ice cancellation.
